libcoverart-dev software package provides library to access the Cover Art Archive (development files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcoverart-dev
libcoverart-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcoverart-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcoverart-dev *
You will get with libcoverart-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
